What are ISAK courses?
The ISAK kinanthropometry certification courses are the most recognized worldwide in the evaluation of body composition through anthropometry. This accreditation establishes a standardized protocol for the measurement of skinfolds, perimeters and diameters, guaranteeing the correct estimation of body composition and its application in different professional fields.
Who can register?
Anyone interested in anthropometry can enroll. No previous experience is required, only interest in learning. The courses are designed for students, nutritionists, health professionals, trainers and anyone interested in body composition assessment.
What does the ISAK course include?
- Study materials and access to online resources.
- Theoretical classes and face-to-face practical sessions.
- Access to ISAKMetry software.
- ISAK membership valid for 4 years.
- Official ISAK certification upon completion and passing the course.
How long does an ISAK course last?
- ISAK Level 1 and 2: approximately 20 hours of virtual training (depending on level 1 or 2) and 3 days of on-site training.
- The content is previously studied online and applied in a practical way in the face-to-face sessions.

What are the prerequisites?
- ISAK Level 1: No previous experience required.
- ISAK Level 2: It is required to have obtained the ISAK Level 1 certification with at least 6 months of seniority.
How do I choose the location for the course?

- Select the location and date of the classroom course in the corresponding form.

What is the cost of the course?
The initial payment covers the access to the theoretical material and the reservation of your place for the classroom part. It is the amount shown on our website at the time of purchase (approximately 75 USD). The remaining amount will depend on the country where you take the practical training:
- Argentina: 125 USD (in ARS pesos, MEP dollar rate of the day).
- Europe: 320 Euros.
- Latin America: 175 USD.

Does the course include tools for later use?
No, but we offer beHAP toolkits at a special price for our students.
- During the registration process, select "Yes" in the option:

- The cost of the kit varies according to the location and time of purchase, but will be less than 100 USD ( regular price: 150 USD).

Content Included
- ISAK membership for 4 years.
- Access to ISAKMetry body composition analysis software.
- ISAK digital manual.
- Theoretical component: Comprises 7 hours of asynchronous online training available immediately upon payment of the course. You will be given a username and password with access to all available material including anthropometric references, lecture presentations and supplementary material related to the course.
- Practical component: It includes 23 hours of classroom training where the tools and everything necessary for taking measurements will be provided. The 21 anthropometric variables included in the restricted profile proposed by ISAK will be addressed in detail. During the training, a practical analysis of interpretation and analysis of results will be carried out, as well as the setting of objectives.
- Online doubt resolution class: Students will be offered different dates and times so that they can connect with their instructors live and resolve any doubts that may arise, both in the theoretical and practical components. The student will have access to all the doubt resolution classes he/she wishes for a period of one year.
